This project was created during lockdown with Jenny Timmer and commissioned by eco-arts centre Cyclic Matter, a regenerative collaboration between a photographer with a scientific background and an artist with a mythological view of the world. Through our back and forth improvisation we developed the themes: Echoes, On growth and balance, and Constructing fractals.

A regenerated spirit and mind arise not only from being able to nurture plant life, but also from the direct effect of natural forms on our brains. These ‘fractalian forms for wellbeing’ run through my work. Through this project and its aesthetics we explore our balance with nature through the forms that connect us – a connection of a local gardening scale with our universal geometries and experimenting with fractal-like forms.
